Jammu is the most populous district in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir and is home to the winter capital (Jammu) of Jammu and Kashmir.
District has a population of around 15 Lacs as per census 2011 and has further 7 sub-divisons and 21 tehsils with 20 rural development blocks.
